Hunger bit, or Hunger Bitten

S. hungrig , hungri.] Having a keen appetite; feeling pain or uneasine from want of food; having an eager desire; lean; emaciated, as if reduced by bunger; not rich or fertile; poor; barren. Hungry Hill, a mountain of Ireland, in Cork, 16 m. W.N.W. of Bantry. On the top of the mountain is a lake, whence the waters descend in a series of cascades, one falling nearly 700 feet.
