(Lat.), n. n. [ee A es age (spe’rm)u!m(utm). From BaAtés, spotted, and orépua, a seed. Fr.. baliosperme. A genus of euphorbiaceous plants of th toneæ, subtribe Geloniew, established by Blume. An undershrub growing in Bengal, northern India, and Malabar. The seeds are cathartic, and probably constitute a'large part of the jumalgota of GO ee drug-seller; the leaves are used as a vulnerary.
