MYALGIA

(Lat.), n. f. Mi(mu8)-aal(a3l)'ji2(gi2)-as. From /tvs, a muscle, and aAyos, pain. Fr., myalgie, myosalgie. Ger., Myalgie, Muskelschmerz. Tenderne or pain'in one or more muscles, generaljy neuralgic in nature, but sometimes inflammatory or due to strain. It is attended with cutaneous hyperaesthesia. [D, 25; E.] M. of embroider e es.
