[After its supposed locality, Pennsylvania; suff. -ite ( Min.).] Min .: A variety of Hydro dolomite (q. v.), found in apple-green incrustations on chromite. Contains 1.25 per cent. of nickel, to which the color is due. pěn-ni-vêined, a. [Lat. penna =a father, and Eng. veined .] Bot.: The same as PENNI NERVED (q. v.).
