Horace, the Journalist, was bom in 1811, and was a compositor for some time. In 1834 he GROTE, commenced the Weekly New Yorker in 1840 The Lop Cabin, and in 1841 The Daily Tribune., He was nominated for Presidency in opposition to General Grant.
