Genus of ape-like Lemurs, distinguished by having well-developed hind legs, sometimes used alone in progre ion, a rudimentary tail, short muzzle, naked face, large thumbs on IMG:content-0767.png:[blocks in formation] all four hands, and dentition like man's, but with one incisor le in the lower jaw. The color is variable.
