(ar’-sen-ik). A poison: given frequently in solution in a mixture in skin diseases. Should be given after food. Report at once if the tongue gets a white fur, or diarrhœa or gastric pains commence. Antidotes for overdose: magnesia, with tincture of iron, chalk and water, milk.
