(ves's'l.) [From L. va sis.] (Naut.) Any structure built for the purposes of navigation, of whatever materials, and impelled through the water by whatsoever means. (Anat.) Any tube or canal, in which the blood and other humors are contained, secreted, or circulated, as the arteries, veins, lymphatics, .-(Bot.)
