Dram

[Contracted from Lat. drachma. See DRACHM.] A small or minute portion or quantity. "A dram of sweet is worth a pound of sour."-Sidney. -As much spirituous liquor as is drank at once; as, a dram of gin;-hence, by implication, potation; habitual intoxication. -A measure of quantity.
