(kon’droid) [Gr. xévdpos cartilage + Ovdpos Cal- A description OF ac- εἶδος form]. 1. Resembling cartilage. 2. Sameas amyloid. chondroitic (kon-dro-it’ik). Pertaining to, de- rived from, or resembling cartilage. chondroitin (kon-dro’it-in). A monobasic aad. 1sHz,NO,,, formed, together with sulphuric acd, by the decomposition of chondroitic acid. chon droit uri a (kon’dro-it-u’re-ah).
