Freiburg, Dec. 26, 1879; pupil of Royal Music school, Munich, then with and Thuille; from 1905 in Freiburg as composer of choral works, a symph., the operas, “‘Traums piel” (after Strindberg play), “Schwanenwei ,” “ Leonceund Lena,” etc. Wei (vis), (1) K., Miihlhausen, ca. 1738—London, 1795; composer. (2) K., b. 1777, son and pupil of above; writer and composer. (3) K., bro. of above; prod. the opera “Twelfth Night” (Prague, 1892). (4) Fz.,: Silesia, 1778—Vienna, 1830; viola virtuoso and composer.
