ampelopsis

[Gr. ἄμπελος ( ampelos ) = vine, and ὄψις ( ops is ) = look, appearance.] Bot. A genus of Ampelideæ (q.v.) Being rapid in growth, the species are sometimes used for covering walls and arbours.
