1. An apparatus, controlled by gas-pre ure, which regulates the speed of a steam-engine driving a gas-exhauster, thus maintaining any required pre ure or exhaust.-2. A device for regulating the flow of illuminating gas from a burner and preventing waste. Also called gas - regulator . gas-gun (gas'gun), n. A pipe in which gases are exploded for signaling purposes. gash1 (gash), v. t.
