[Named after Mr. Lindsay, an English writer on the germination of mo es.] Bot .: The typical genus of the sub-tribe Lindswese (q.v.). The sorus is infra marginal, continuous; the indusium linear, parallel to the margin of the leaf, free outside. Veins dichotomous. lind-se-e-æ, s. pl. [Mod. Lat. lindsæ (a); Lat. fem. pl. adj. suff.-eœ.] Bot.: A sub-tribe of Polypod i a ceo us Ferns with indusiate sori.
