Acetate-of-lead ointment (unguentum plumb i a cet at is), acetate of lead and benzoin ointment. - Aconitia ointment (unguentum aconitiæ), eight grains of a con it in to an ounce of lard. - Alkaline sulphur ointment (unguentum sulphur is alkalinum), sulphur, carbonate of potash, and benzoin a ted lard.- Ammoniated-mercury ointment (unguentum hydrargyri ammon i at i), ammoniated mercury with simple or benzoin ointment. - Antimonial ointment (unguentum an tim on i i tartar at i), tart a rated antimony with lard or simple ointment. Also called tartar emetic ointment, tart a rated-antimony ointment.-Apostles' ointment. See apostle. - Atropia ointment (unguentum atropiæ), atropin and lard. - Basilicon ointment. Same as basilicon. - Belladonna ointment (unguentum belladonnæ), extract of belladonna in lard or benzoin ointment. - Benzoin ointment (unguentum benzoin i, adeps benzoatus or benzoin at us), a mixture of lard and tincture of benzoin in the proportion of eight to one by weight. Also called benzoin a ted or benzoated lard. - Blue ointment. Same as mercurial ointment. — Boric-acid ointment (unguentum acid i boric i), boric acid and paraffin. - Calamin ointment (unguentum calamine), prepared calamin and benzoin ointment or simple ointment.
