stum, n. must, grape-juice unfermented: new wine used to revive dead or vapid wine: a mixture used to impart artificial strength, ., to weak beer or wine: wine revived by the addition of stum or by a second fermentation.— v.t. to renew or doctor with stum: to fume, as a cask of liquor, with burning sulphur.
