Sbrake (esbrak)

A railway-brake having a brake-shoe attached to each end of an S. shaped rock-lever centrally axled between a pair of wheels on one side. When rocked on its axle it causes one of the shoes to bear against the front under side of the hind wheel, and the other shoe to pre upon the back upper side of the front wheel of the pair. S. C.
