(Span, faluca; Fr. felouquer; Ital. feluca.) A small ve el, carrying two masts, and propelled by oars and sails, used chiefly in the Mediterranean and on the adjacent coasts for coasting voyages. Small war boats used in the same quarter are also so called. [s. 458]
