Fichtelite

(Min.) A hydro-carbon occurring in the form of shining scales, flat crystals, and thin layers, in pine wood from peat-beds in the vicinity of Redwitz, North Bavaria. Lustre, greasy; color, white; translucent, brittle, odorle , and tastele . Comp. Carbon 88-35, hydrogen 11-65.
