vasodentine (vasodentin)

[L. vas, a ve el, + den(t-)s, = E. tooth, + -ine2.] A vascular form of dentine in which blood circulates; dentine whose capillaries are large enough for the pa age of red blood-disks. Compare osteodentine and vitriodentine. vasodilator (vas"ō-di-lā'tor), a. and n. [L. vas, ve el, + E. dilator.] I. a. Serving to dilate or relax blood-ve els when stimulated, as a nerve. See vasomotor. II. n. That which causes dilatation of the blood-ve els: applied to nerves and certain drugs.
