(feef'ment.) [From Mod. L. feodum, a fief.] (Eng. Law.) The old common-law method (now seldom practised) of conveying lands to another in fee, that is, to him and his heirs for ever, by delivery of seisin and po e ion of the estate granted. The giver is styled the fe offer, and the person who is thus invested the feoffee. [s. 360]
