Besides this, there are eight families, including the Hedgehogs, Shrews, and Moles; viz., SORICIDÆ, TALPIDE, CHRYSOCHLORIDE, POTAMOGALIDE, CENTETIDÆ, ERINACEIDÆ, TUPAIIDÆ, and MACROSCELIDÆ (q.v.). There are no Insect i vor a in S. America nor Australia.
