is, properly, the product of a tree of the Sapodilla family, grown in the Maca ar district of Celebes, one of the East Indian Islands, but the trade article frequently consists of, or. contains, cocoanut and safflower-seed oil. Its chief use is in the perfumery trade. [s. 362]
