Son of George William Warren, orgt.; began study of music at an early age; oigt. and choirmaster in New York at various churches after 1877; 1907 at Church of the Ascension, which position he still holds (1910); condr. N Y. Church Choral Society 1886-1895, 1903- 1907, and of series of orchestral concerts 1905; condr. Yonkers Choral Society; has composed 6 operettas, cantata, orchestral works, string quartet, songs, anthems, etc.
