Coxe, Arthur Cleveland

N. J., 1818-1896. The second Protestant Episcopal bishop of Western New York. A son of S. H. Cox, supra, having adopted an older spelling of his surname. A writer of much force and originality, holding opinions with great tenacity and much given to controversy.
