Cyst

(sist.) [Gr. kystis, ab ladder.] (Med) Abag,usually of a membraneous nature, which accidentally develops | itself in animal bodies, and contains morbid matter. The tumor formed by a cyst is called an Encysted tumor. [s. 259]
