(C11H17NO4) [ACHILLEA.] Chem. A substance formed by boiling achillein for several days with dilute sulphuric acid. It TENDON OF ACHILLES. Anat. A strong tendinous cord affording insertion in the bone to the gastrocnemius and the soleus muscles. is situated at the part of the heel where Achilles received his death-wound.
