(u-trik-u-la' -re-ah). A genus of aquatic plants of some 160 species, of wide distribution; the bladderworts. They are cla ed as insectivorous plant?: their bladder-like leaves imprison insects, crustaceans, and worms. The fresh plants are -aid to make a good application for burns and wounds.
