plug, n. Anything used to stop a hole; a stop-; I ple; a flat, oblong cake of pre ed tobacco. i [plugged (plugd), -ging.] To stop with e | make tight by stopping a hole. — Plum, plum, w. The fruit of a tree of the genus Prukms; the tree itself, usually called plum tree; a rai to j j sin; in Eng., a handsome fortune or property; the sum of £100,000 sterling. Plumage. See under Plume.
