Hedgehog

IMG:p240_2.png:Chinese characters t'zu wei. Four species are known in N. China. Like most Insect i vor a they are found where there is moisture and vegetation. One species however has become adapted to the desert conditions of the arid Ordos. The species with their distribution are Erinaceus europoeus amurensis, Manchuria; E. deal bat us, Chihli, Shantung; E. miodon, Ordos Desert, N. Shensi; E. hugh i, S. Shensi.
