and n. [ II. n. An animal of the genus Neomenia . Neomeniidæ (nēō-mē-nī'i-dē), n. pl . [NL., Neomenia + -ida .] A family of mollusks, typified by the genus Neomenia. There is a second genus, Prone omen i a , more elongate and vermiform. The family is also raised to ordinal rank, under the names Neomenice , Neo men i aria , and Neomenioidea .
