See tuzz i muzzy. tu ah-silk (tus'ä-silk), n. flowers with undivided styles. The only species, T. Far far a, the coltsfoot, is widely distributed through north temperate regions in the Old World, in America naturalized in the North Atlantic States and Canada. It is a perennial herb, more or le covered with snowy wool, growing from a deep-seated rootstock. The leaves are radical, large and roundish, and somewhat angulate; the flower heads are yellow, of medium size, and solitary upon a scale-bearing scape.
