fibster

[Eng. fib; -ster.] One who tells fibs; a fibber. fib-u-la, s. [Lat.,=a buckle or clasp.] I. Ord. Lang.: A buckle, clasp, or brooch. Anat .: The outer and le er bone of the leg, much smaller than the tibia. Its upper end, which does not reach so high as the knee, receives the lateral knob of the upper end of the tibia into a small sinus which it has in its inner side. Its lower end is received into the small sinus of the tibia, and then it extends into a large proce , which form the outer ankle. 2. Mason .: An iron cramp by which stones are fastened together. 3. Surg.: A needle for sewing up wounds.
