Fraternize

n. [Fr. fraternizer.] To a ociate or hold fellowship as brothers, or as men of like occupation or disposition. -v. a. To cause to a ociate as brothers. Fraternizer, n. One who fraternizes. Fraticel'li, FRATI CELL I ANS, or LESSER BRETHREN, a branch of the Francis cans (q. v .), that arose in Italy towards the end of the 13th century. They were, according to Milman, bound to the Cœlestinians by the closest ties. By some authors they have been confounded with the Beghards, to whom the name Frati cell i, or Frater cal i, was applied as a term of reproach. They disappeared towards the end of the 15th century.
