Frankincense

Fragrant gum-resin used in pharmacy and burned in religious ceremonies. There are several kinds, the best being the Arabian or tear olibanum, the African, and the East Indian or stalactitic. In India it is obtained from Bos well i a glabra, and the gum-resin of Canarium strictum is also fragrant.
