Buder, Paul

' D.D. (Tubingen, 1880), German Protestant theologian; b. at Leutkirch, Wiirtemberg, Feb. 15, 1836; studied at Tubingen, 1851- 54; became repetent in the Evangelical Theological Seminary at Tubingen, 1861; pastor at Back nang (Diakonus und Bez irks schul-inspector), Wiirtemberg, 1865; second court preacher at Stuttgart, 1868; profe or extraordinary of theology, and ephor us of the theological seminary, Tubingen, 1872; ordinary profe or there, 1877. In 1869 he received the gold 41 medal for saving a child from drowning, at the risk of his own life.
