Volt-ammeter

—The wattmeter, an instrument for measuring the watts, or the product of the volts and amperes, in an electric circuit. Wattmeters are gencrally based upon the Siemens dynamometer which has two coils, one fixed and the other movable, through which the current to be measured is pa ed in series.
