Bronze

—1. A varying alloy of copper and tin, with occasionally zine or lead added. The copper varies from 80 to 90% and the tin from 10 to 20%. The greater proportion of tin makes a harder metal but decreases the tensile strength. 2. An alloy, similar in composition to that of tools found in the Pyramids of Ghizeh.
