Lord's Supper

Sacrament instituted by Jesus on the evening before His death; observed under varying forms by nearly all Christians, in every age and land, as the chief rite of their religion; called also Eucharist and Holy Communion. Its IMG:content-1147.png:[graphic][merged small] belong the Pipe-fish ( Syngnathus ), shaped like a narrow stem, and Hippocampus , the Sea Horse, resembling the head and neck of a horse anteriorly and tapering off posteriously into a slender tail, which the animal winds about the stems of sea weeds, which, in form and markings, he mimics. Pegasus (from another family in this group) has a flattened body and large pectoral fins spread out like wings.
