GALBULUS

(Lat.), n. m. Ga2l(ga31)'bu*l(bu4l)-u3s(u4s). Fr., galbule. Ger., Beerenzapfen, Kugelzapfen. Of Gartner, a form of fruit resembling a cone, but round, and with the carpel heads greatly enlarged and the scales succulent. The Galbuliferce are a division of the Coniferce having such fruits.
