Wolzogen (volt'-z5-gen), [und Neuhaus], Hans Paid, Freiherr von, writer, b. Potsdam, Nov. *13, 1848. Student of mythology and philology at Berlin; wrote in Potsdam; summoned by Wagner to edit Bayreuther Blatter 1877, published many thematic guides to operas as well as pamphlets supporting theories of Wagner whom he ardently admired.
