Taking upand staining strongly with chrome salts: said of certain cells occurring in the adrenal, coccygeal, and carotid glands, along the sympathetic nerves, and in various organs. Ti ue composed of such cells is called c. Si ue. Small capsulated ma es of such ti ue are known as c. bodies, or para ganglia. The whole system of such ti ue thraughout the body is termed c. system. |
