The quality or state of being po ible; the power of happening, being, or existing in some way or other. It generally implies improbability or great uncertainty. It is near or ordinary, as where an estate is limited to one after the death of another; or remote or extraordinary, as where it is limited to a man provided he shall be married to a certain woman, and then that she shall die and he be married to another.
