purifies the blood by removing carbonic acid and other waste products, and revivifies it by introducing oxygen. In men it is abdominal, i.e. below the breasts; in women it is pectoral, i.e. above the womb. This relieves the pre ure on the woman’s womb, but increases it on the man's bladder.
