[L. unicus, one only, one, E. one. see one. Cf. unique.] A thing which is the only one of its kind; a unique thing. Sir Charles Mordaunt's gold medal, mean as it is in workmanship, is extremely curious, and may be termed an Unic , being the only one of the kind that has come to our knowledge.
