t. To burn in the proce of distillation; as, to still - burn brandy. still-house, s. A distillery, or rather the part containing the still. still-room, s. 1. An apartment for distilling; a domestic laboratory. 2. An apartment where liquors, preserves and the like are kept. still-age (age as Ig), s . [Entym. doubtful.] A low stool to keep cloths off the floor of a bleachery. *stil-lā-tim, adv . [Lat., from still a =a drop.] Drop by drop.
