Snell

(Rodolph), an eminent Dutch phi- Josopher, was born at Oudewater, in 1546. He was some time profe or of Hebrew and mathematics at Leyden, where he died. in 1613.. He was author of several works on geometry, and on all parts of the philosophy of his time.
