The wheel, therefore, continues locked on the upright pallet G, and the vibration proceeds uncontrolled till the great pallet is again brought round, and the balance-spring again checks the vibration, the above make horrible; to strike with horror; to shock with terror; as, he horrified her delicate sensibilities in alluding to legs.
