(fe-oo'ma,) a seaport of Austria, and seat of govt. of the Littorale, on the Gulf of Quarnero, 38 m. S.W. of Trieste. It is the chief entrepôt of the trade bet. Hungary and the Adriatic, and has an excellent harbor. Pop. 17,500. [s. 367]
