[Greek,=a name of Bacchus.] Zool.: A genus of Cebide, American Monkeys, containing the Marmosets. More commonly called Hapale (q. v.). jăc-con-ět, s. [JACONET.] *Jā'-çent, a. [Lat. jacens , pr. par. of jaceo =to lie.] Lying down; recumbent; lying at length.
